Woven and Loose

Grandmother's woven cardigan + my loose top worn as a skirt

The crochet/woven top is actually my grandmother's which is really perfect for today's weather. I wanted to feel the warmth since it was raining all day but I also wanted to keep it safe just in case the sun rises in the middle of the day. Crochet tops are a perfect way of layering for whatever weather.

As for the skirt (oops, scratch that, I mean top-worn-as-skirt haha!), I'm in the mood for a browny and beigy color palette. I keep on searching for the perfect skirt to wear but I can't find any. Good thing I stumbled upon this loose top of mine and I thought of wearing it as a skirt for a change! Tadah! (You can see me wearing this as a top here)

I love how the sleeves of this top added drapes to the "skirt".

New necklace I am inlove with!!

Basics and Popping Red

Well, the title gave it all.
I'm back to basics plus an eye popping red belt to break the solemnity of the outfit.

F21 loose top.
Vintage pants.
People R People platforms.
Genevieve Gozum belt.

Loose on Semi Loose.
Who said it must only be Loose on Fit?

I'm on pants again and I'm loving it :)

BTW, I have a new photographer: our House Helper! teehee! :)
I can now take outfit photos every now and then even if my siblings were not at home.
Just a quick advice for successful shots, give them the camera with proper settings already and tell them to go a bit lower when taking photos so your legs won't look shorter. ;)

I Love You, Pink!

I'm currently obsessing on different shades of pink - nude, fuchsia, baby pink, blush pink and whatever shaded existing. If you'll notice, if I'm not posting a monochrome outfit, its with a shade of pink.

How about you, do you love PINK?

A Pint of Print on Print

I don't know if this can be considered as a Print on Print that's why I added "A Pint".

Take two of my Hey Zebra shoes!

Reasons why i love this pair:
* makes my legs thinner
* makes my legs longer
* uplifts a simple outfit
* comfortable
*affordable
* and the list goes on and on!

The weather went back to normal Manila weather - hot. With this kind of weather, I tend to wear the most comfortable outfit in my closet which is cotton dresses. I love how you can just slip it on - easy breezy.

Shoe in Love Bazaar will be moved to July 9!
We can all be Cinderella, hope we can find our perfect pair!

Hearts,
Jill

Hey Zebra!

I am still not over with animal prints. Hence the printed shoes!

Though it's not noticeable in my photos, I am wearing three layers of clothing pieces! hahaha! For normal season, you can't wear that here in PH. You'll die because of heatstroke if you do that. Kidding aside, it was so cold today that's why I decided to layer all the way! That's the only good thing about this weather. Agree, Pinoys and  Pinays? :)

I got the pumps from SOFAB for only 1500 php! It was love at first sight, we all know that feeling. :)

Btw, maisingit ko lang. I already have lots of ideas on how to wear this uneven gray top. I want to wear it as a skirt! Can't wait! I told you, i love reusing my clothes like what I did here haha!

Be inspired and spread the fashion word!

Hearts,
Jill

Reuse, Recycle, Reinvent!

So if you've been reading my blog last week, you've already seen the outfit post I wore for DLSU Centennial Celebration. I mentioned there that I wore my brother's shirt.

Well, today's peg is actually a bit the same - Reinventing!

I initially picked my favorite pleated skirt that I almost overused already. I'm really having a hard time dressing up for work because: firstly, I am not a jeans person and I think I already mentioned here a couple of times that you can usually see me wearing dresses or skirts or leggings as for my bottom; second, I am running out of dresses; third, all my skirts are like more than 3 inches above the knee. And also, I am taking public transportations going to work so I see to it that I look presentable yet a little bit conservative. Hence the Reinventing!

What I wore today was a dress that I wore as a skirt! (You can also see jme wearing this piece as a top here)
Too bad I don't have a photo of this outfit with more drapes. When I arrived at the office this morning, I fixed and styled it a little bit more, creating more drapes which I totally loved by the way! The drapes and glitters added so much attitude and drama to my outfit!

Lastly, I want to introduce to you guys the savior of my life!

Yes, mababaw! haha! But I really love this Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm (which I tried because of Alyssa. Hey Alyssa! Big shout out to you if you're reading this! haha!) because this made my dry lips much better. I stopped using petroleum jelly already because I find this effective. Just apply, always! Kidding! haha!
