Razon's Halo-Halo

Since it is already summer and scorching hot here in the Philippines, its time for a cooling and soothing dessert/merienda/snack.

RAZON's famous Halo-Halo.

For those who don't know, Halo-Halo is a Filipino dessert. It contains beans, pearls, bananas, crushed ice leche flan/ube/icecream as a topping. Actually, the contents depends. Some puts langka, shredded corn and other variations of it.

Razons is famous of their halo-halo and palabok, i think. I tried both and I LOVED IT!!! <3

It's worth a try and affordable! 60 pesos only (i think)!

They have branches in Makati, Mandaluyong, Manila, Muntinlupa, Paranaque, Pasay, Pasig, Quezon City, San Juan, Pasay, Pasig, Quezon City and Taguig.

This is my order. Beef something. and since I am hungry, I opt to add meat for 20pesos, i think. If you want to add an egg, estimate of 20 pesos should be added also. The original price of my meal is 220 something but they have promo daw during weekdays so I got a discount. I dunno if the promo applies to all branches though.

Golden Spoon Indeed

I have a sweet tooth.

I like sweets, desserts, chocolates not to mention adding a lot of sugar into my oatmeal. Despite having an addiction to sweetness, I am not a fan of yogurts.

But after eating @ Pepper Lunch with my teammates, we dropped by at Golden Spoon. Golden Spoon offers frozen yogurts with lotsa sprinkles you can choose from together with the literally GOLDEN Spoon. They say their Froyos are the "Ice cream Lovers' Frozen Yogurt." Maybe because the sweetness is just right for ice cream lovers yet it is still nutritional. For nutritional facts info click HERE.

My sweet treat! I just can't resist to try it. I got strawberry froyo for myself with chocochips and cookies&cream crumbs as for my toppings. Sorry for the blurry photo, I was walking while taking the picture. But it was worth it. Only 85 pesos I think for the small froyo. See the spoon? Its really gold! Joke! haha Its plastic but color gold.

I am not a fan of TEAs. I only drink tea when my tummy aches.

When I was in college people are going gaga over the tea drinks that are being sold in school.

BUT when I tried Serenitea, I cannot stop buying. Serenitea offers milk teas to tea lovers. I love their Wintermelon and Okinawa flavor. Seriously, if you don't like tea this time you'll like it. Price ranges from 85 - 100 pesos. They also have this LoyalTEA card wherein if you'd complete 10 stickers in the card, they'll give you 1 free drink of your choice. But the drink you have to order to get one sticker should be large (105 pesos).

Charlie's is located at the Ronac Art Center Building, Ortigas Avenue.

The place is a bit small but just enough for people who eats in. they even have a TV to entertain customers while waiting for their order. Though the TV is always on the basketball channel everytime I go there. haha.

Black Angus Burger with fries.

Price: 165 w/o fries, 195 w/ fries

They also have the burger in double angus which I can't imagine to finish. haha

Their fries are soooo good. It's really fresh and not the typical frozen fries you get from those fast food. They say it's from Benguet.

Buffalo Wings.

Price: Forgot the price but approximately 150-200 for half dozen.

They have "levels" for their buffalo wings. What we ordered was the basic one which is HOT. They also have it in nuclear and punyeta (yes, they call the highest level punyeta haha)

The beau insists on eating at Charlie's Grind and Grill because I keep on telling him that the Angus burger, fries and buffalo wings are great! It's his first time and he liked it!

No, it's not my birthday.

3rd year of LOVE and HAPPINESS.

Nothing has changed, only our love gets stronger each day.

He is not only my boyfriend. 

But also my bestfriend who stabs me in front when I did something bitchy.

My Dad who scolds me whenever my outfit is too revealing.

My brother who protects me from the bad guys out there.

My sister who I can gossip with.

My cheerleader when I'm in doubt of myself.

My human alarm clock and planner who reminds me of my TO DO list since I'm forgetful.

No matter what, I know I have someone to run to if everyone else turned their back on me.

Our happiness is limitless yet simple. Having a bag of Piatos roadhouse barbeque makes our day even a pack of gummy candies or chocolates will do.

No, our relationship isn't as perfect as the classic fairytales. We had arguments and misunderstandings. We are alike but different at the same time. He want to watch basketball but I want the channel to be in Gossip Girl. He checks his favorite basketball site the first thing he opens google chrome while I quickly open my saved bookmarks which includes lookbook, chictopia, blogger, twitter, online shops, etc. Oftentimes, we have different perspectives about things but we also share common interests and thoughts about life. 

We dream together, fight for each other and face the hardships in life together.

Well enough of the sentiments!

Here's how we celebrated our 3rd year! :)

Went to my alma mater to get my graduation photos then ate lunch at Papa John's.

Papa John's is located at the newly renovated University Mall (Vito Cruz, Taft Avenue, Manila).
We just kept the meal light because we don't want to make our tummies full since we're having a buffet lunch for dinner.

Below is their Chicken Grilled Pizza. It's yummy but haven't tasted any chicken though.

Pasta Bolognaise, which is actually better than their carbonaras.

I've tasted their carbonara before and I didn't like it. I don't know if it is really their style to make foods that are not that saucy. So I initially told my friends not to order carbonara and choose the red sauces instead.


Chicken Wings which are soooo yummy! I like it but it's so small. :( I politely asked one of their crews to have it replaced with bigger ones. In fairness to her, she is so kind to accommodate me but after asking someone inside the kitchen she told me the sizes are all the same. :(

We went to greenbelt afterwards since it's the nearest mall to Makati Shangrila.
Got bored in the car coz it's traffic. My frustrations of becoming a photographer came out. HAHA.

It's scorching hot that day. It made us hungry and thirsty so we decided to grab some cold coffee frap and honey glazed doughnut from Starbucks to satisfy our thirsty throat and tummy.

We watched RED RIDING HOOD afterwards. It's been a long time since the last time we watched a movie.

For the movie, it's a thumbs up for me. ;) lotsa twists, go watch it!

FINALLY DINNER TIME!

This dinner ruined my months of healthy. I felt like, those days I haven't eaten rice were wasted. HAHA!

Sorry for the poor quality. I'm in a rush when I took this because people were looking at me. AND the beau keeps on telling me "Tama na picture! Mamaya na yan..".

We just tasted their siomai and dumpling. Well, the usual.

I just realized I haven't tasted all of these. :(

Not a fan of sugar free stuff because I'm a sweet tooth so my verdict is I don't like it.

I don't know what are these called but I have tasted the one in the top and it's yummy. ;)
